DESIGNER BIOGRAPHY
Wadema Al Ghaferi is an Interior Designer who was born in Abu Dhabi in 1997. She will receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the college of Arts and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University, UAE in 2021.
Recent projects and exhibtions of her work include numerous exhibitions at Zayed University as well as she was selected for an internship placement in London from the Dubai Design Fashion Council. Current design projects and competitions include: COLAB Design Competition (2020), Bauhaus Neue Competition (2019), and
Techshop in Abu Dhabi (2017).
DESIGNER STATEMENT
In my current design practice, my process begins first with the investigation of a site, and by celebrating it.
I am currently working on a project that encompasses a Boutique Hotel which will include an Astronomy laboratory. My process in designing always holds a learning curve, where I weave my focus between the details of the space with a focus on my clients needs.
